You have to give credits to Toyota for bringing to market the first good looking Camry in many years. To celebrate, Toyota is putting out a ’mandatory funny video’ for the Superbowl. The best selling sedan is obviously trying to appeal to a larger audience than the usual senior citizen without double crossing their loyal customers. The commercial is very well aligned with the Superbowl spirit of family fun but you can barely see the new car at all. Check it out for yourself and twitt’ away on the special #reinvented, made specially for the new Camry.
Check out after the jump our favorite Camry commercial from the 80’s of course.

Filed under: Motorsports, Performance, Etc., Europe, Videos, Motorcycle, Racing
We’ve seen a swell in RoToR camera set ups in bike videos lately, and we have to say the trick makes for some pretty entertaining viewing. Take the clip you’ll see after the break that was worked up by Supermotard Denmark, for example. The video tracks one rider as he finishes up a practice day. The crew crafted their own homemade version of the RoToR setup we know and love, strapped it to a rider’s head and came out with some awesome footage. There’s plenty of peg-scraping glory as the rider works his way through the tight and technical course.
As much as we dig watching the rider kick the machine’s tail out, we’re equally smitten with the video’s soundtrack. Hit the jump to enjoy the antics for yourself. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have some supermoto classifieds to peruse.

After being revealed back in 1991, the Lexus GS will be entering its fourth generation by the end of 2011 or early 2012.
The new generation Lexus GS, which was officially introduced at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, will be built on a brand new platform, making it sportier and more efficient than the previous model. Under the hood, expect to see the same direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 engine that delivers a total of 306 horsepower at 6,200 rpm and 277 lb.-ft. of peak torque at 3,600 rpm. The real star of the show will be the 5.0-liter V8 engine with an output of about 450 horsepower found in the GS-F version.
According to Lexus “the fourth-generation GS model introduces a more defined and emotional design philosophy featuring a new distinctive front grille and styling cues that will soon be seen on all future Lexus vehicles. The new GS has also been engineered to provide a more engaging and dynamic driving experience and the highest levels of refinement.”
UPDATE 12/22/2011: Lexus has announced prices for the 2013 GS 350 arriving in dealerships in early February 2012. The GS350 will be offered in rear-wheel drive (RWD) with a base MSRP of $46,900 or all-wheel drive (AWD) with a base MSRP of $49,450. An F SPORT Sport S+ mode adds another $5,690 and an optional navigation system adds $1,735.
UPDATE 01/24/2012: On January 6th, Lexus asked their Facebook fans which feature of the all-new GS they would like to learn more about. They voted, and today the company has unveiled a video about the car’s performance enhancements, based directly on the majority of votes. Enjoy!

One side of the Lotus naming dispute has been put forward on a new and in-depth webpage called www.saveteamlotus.com. The basic background is that the Lotus Racing F1 team had its naming rights revoked for next season by Group Lotus and, in order to keep racing under the Lotus name, bought the Team Lotus brand off David Hunt, who had owned it since the original team?s last race in 1994. Group Lotus has now taken Lotus Racing to court to try and stop it using the historic name in Formula One next year. The issue has been a source of constant confusion for many fans and the new webpage offers a breakdown of David Hunt?s and Team Lotus? side of the argument.
